Is this ACR a one year only car? Does anyone know for certain?

Chris Marshall or anyone else --

I have put in a question to Jon B at Partsrack about this but does anyone know the exact weight savings of the ACR's Stoptech rotors versus the stock units? Thanks.

Also, for anyone who has actually used the Stoptech rotors on their Viper, is there any downside at all to their use? It seems like a win-win to me with both (1) reduced unsprung weight (6 lbs or more per rotor would be amazing) and (2) increased stopping power. Assuming that the ACR uses the same Brembo calipers and pad material as the stock 2008s, is there any issue with increased pad wear or durability of the rotor (slotting as opposed to drilling should not result in increased chances of cracking or warping but I am not sure about this).

/Rich

I'm speechless. This is no doubt the best looking viper I have seen to date.

But I have to ask Bob C., 1000 feet below the surface of the earth ? Did you run into Jules Verne ?? Any giant monsters down there ? How about Gertrude the Duck. How's she doing ? Is that how deep NJ has to go to get away from the NY AX team ?? (inside joke)

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Seriously, great car, thanks for the presentation. Appreciate all the effort.

Andrew

I can't say for certain, but one of the pieces I am reading on it says 30 pounds for the rotors alone...

Speechless.. I knew the VCA had a good relationship with SRT but this TOTALLY takes it to another level ! Talk about rewarding customer loyalty.. what other club has such a highly personal relationship with their manufacturer?

THANK YOU SRT! A truly awesome car. Now you have me unable to look at the regular GEN IV the same. Now I want this! Do we have MSRP's yet?

On another note, look at Chris in front of the camera, a natural. haha.

I agree 100%. Talk about rewarding customer loyalty. The SRT team listens to what it's customers want compared to most businesses out there. Another reason why I will never get rid of my Viper. You actually feel like your wants are heard with them. Great job on the ACR!!! And a huge thanks to the VCA for bringing us another raffle car. You guys are the best.

I've been on the books since Jan 17th of this year.

Now...I'm thinking black with a red stripe looks good.......

Or red with dual stripes...I just can't decide.
