TT Lambo vs Doug Levin SRT - Anyone seen this video?

Hi Bob,

I'm a little short on time but hope this helps ...

Computer is proprietary.

No cats.

Stock clutch, stock trans (for now) BTW... you cannot dump the stock clutch or it will go up in smoke. Once the stock clutch is clamped, you go!

Brakes are stock and work very well, although I would prefer the ceramic upgrade.

Dealer Warranty is about what you can expect from whom it is that you know.

I warranty all of our components, obviously with discretion.

Getting dyno numbers out of Doug is like getting future raffle cars out of me - good luck.

Seriously, as far as I know Doug VERY rarely releases dyno numbers other than very loose "guesstimates" beforehand. Why? Because too many Viper owners complain afterwards when their dyno numbers at home differ from what the tuner said. And certainly not about Doug, but tuners in general. Instead he gives you a range prior to the work being done. After that it is generally a VERY pleasant surprise when you get the car home and dyno it yourself...

all i know is doug took me for a ride in his merci this sunday and i cant tell you how sweet that car sounds and drives. i wanted one before he took me for a ride, now im gonna burn my car and save for a few years to get one...lol

Great vid. But as someone once said..it's like bringing a knife to a gunfight. The Viper is 650 at the wheels, the Murci 800+....by all accounts. It should be as it was. Now a TT Viper.......different ending maybe. Or let's run the cars from a dig, a couple of times. The Viper will be the only car in the race after 2 or 3 runs.

I appreciate your comments, although the viper is making a lot more than 650 rwhp. We did dyno it long before and after the video. When we did dyno'd after the video, the Viper was bouncing on the dyno giving us an inaccurate reading, we thought there was something wrong with the car until we realized it was a simple dyno operator error - it was not strapped down tight enough.

IMHO, I believe even if the Viper was a TT it would have been the same outcome (of course on STREET TIRES). And I believe it would have been worse on a slow roll for the Viper - being that the Murci has awd that give it's advantage against the Viper.

Ps. Nothing against the Viper, I am a multi Viper owner/luver

Thank you Doug. Being a longtime Lambo and Viper owner...the RWHP difference had to be huge for that type of outcome. More than 200RWHP edge to the Lambo?

Doug, I have to admit awd rocks when putting down the power! My 997 has the Evolution EVT700 on it and only makes 650awhp but, dam it goes! No 6000rpm launchs on that Muci! That clutch would go bye bye. Nice work brother!

Hey Doug! Everything is good. That Florida weather is awesome i am sure. Trying to get my Viper tuned for a mile high. DC has the SCT tuner that should work. Too far from Florida, You need a shop here in NM.
