I saw pics of caps only on a silver vert. I honestlly couldnt tell a difference. I heard its less then 1/2" drop.
I beleive the Viper needs atleast 1-1 1/2 " drop minimum to look good.

Just a precautionary question - somebody mentioned getting airborne while hitting a bump at speed. Ever experienced anything like that? I daily drive my car and still want it to be livable.
I haven't had any problems. But.... I don't get my Viper airborne with daily driving?

seems like a decent amount of drop, but then again it looks like you have 19/20 set up with ps2 tires, which has about the same sidewall height of the stock tires. so if you had the height of the +1 rim size that may be why the drop seems more than just with stock size rims.....

my daily driving is at around 75-85 mph and that makes it go airbourne. at 50-60 its just a little hop. also when youre on a turn doing 50+ and hit a bump, the ass feels like its gonna give out...so i guess you have to get used to the set up and drive it accordingly. for around $1000 just for the look is definetly worth it no doubt about it. performance part of it sucks or you can spend $5,000 w labor for some motons and get both looks and performance.

I put about 300 miles on mine (Eibach only) this weekend, and also did numerous laps around a road race track. My car handled just fine, and I don't drive like a Grandma. Of course, that was on Nitto Invo tires too, not the factory junk tires. The ride was actually pretty good even over bumpy country roads. Even the wife didn't complain about the ride like she used to when the car was stock.

This leads me to believe the factory tires are what make our Vipers ride like a covered wagon. Get rid of the runflats and you'll agree.

The ride seemed the same for me. I drove the car for a week with just eibachs.

Last week the new rims and pirelli tires showed up.....drove the car again today, what a difference, those run flats are really hard tires. Don't get me wrong it does not drive like a Lux. suburban but it does drive alot better than the stock set-up

Tony, I should have let you drive my car at Harris Hill so I could get your opinion on the PS2 vs. Invo, as that's the tire I'm really looking to get. My car was pushing a lot in the corner's with a good amount of squeal (tires were probably not inflated correctly).

P.S. I tried to get some good photos of you when we were driving around, but didn't get anything at the track. Sorry.

The difference is a combination of the hard sidewall of the runflat and weight savings from the weight of the stock setup. I am going in early next week for the stoptechs. Another savings of 8lbs per corner. I am sure that will improve ride and handling even more.
