Best wheel scuff repair shop?

I have read several threads regarding repair shops. Based on the experiences of others, it seems as if getting a perfect repair on a scuffed up rim is prety much impossible. Has anyone received a repair that matches the factory finish?


I have three wheels that need to be fixed ASAP.

I had Rim Doctor fix mine and it turned out great, cant even tell where the repair was

Just do it yourself. All you need is a grinder and a good buffer.

Atbardach, I use "Ye Ole Wheel Shop" in Maryland. Their address is 6363 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Md. I don't have their phone number, however, you can use 411 to get it. Their work is excellent......Good Luck!!!

Yes very pleased, I tried to show a fried where the fixed the rim a month later and couldnt find the repair. So yes they did a great job. I had rim rash on passenger rear, of course talking on phone and hit curb, maybe 2 inch rash

How do they fill in where it is ground down

I think they buff the area, and areas around it, but I didnt pay that much attention while they were doing it, not 100% sure really, but it looks fine
