Part numbers for 2008 gas cap teather and hook? (Dodge forgot these on my car).
Hello,
Can anybody help me with the part numbers for the gas cap tether and hook? I just read this thread about 2008s shipping from the factory with a tether and a hook like my 2006 did. After having a closer look at my 2008, I see that it actually does have a hole in the gas cap plus a hole in the lid hinge where the tether goes. Apparently Dodge just forgot to install the tether and the hook on my car... Mine came without it too. Poo on Dodge for cutting corners on some of the nice little things. Outside temp guage, fuel cap tether, I-pod plug in capability, deleting the 6 CD changer for a single CD, etc. Ahhhhh Poo!

Not only that: I just noticed that my 2008 gas cap is missing the text "Premium Fuel Only". My 2006 cap did have that text, and so does the blue 2008...
Seems like Dodge ran out of SRT-10 specific caps and used "generic" caps instead?! Hmmm.... Peter |

In the 08 parts book, they do not show a part number for the tether! Just a part number for the gas cap and the picture shows a tether on the cap #52124517AA MSRP $17.70. I have not ordered one yet so I can not confrim it will be on the cap?
