Must have because adding nitrous to a stock honda gives you about 700HP.
Lets see your setup because I guess nitrous is just for Imports

Just to give you an idea of what a 200 shot can do on a stock motor Power wise. Here is my dyno graph.

Curious to see what cars have had a probelm with a 200shot, I hear all this talk about limitation but dont really see any cars being blown up. Ive seen paxton guys pushing 690-710whp on stock motor which is alot more than what a 200shot will give you

you can run a 400 shot if its tuned perfectly. its all in the tune but i sure dont wanna push any limits, been there done that.

i personally have seen what a TON of nitrous can do to a forged motor. on nitrous, 856rwtq can do some damage to the cylinder walls and did in my case. granted i ran maybe 40-50 bottles thru it though...

The different between the nitrous and a blown motor is the nitrous hits instantly which puts more stress on components. The boost takes a bit to build on a blown motor therefore not stressing it as much. You can see the TQ curve and see what I am talking about, and compare that against a dyno of say a paxton viper. Of course it is recommended to go with a progressive system to prevent the instant hit like that which is pretty much useless anyway due to lack of traction. The guys that are pushing 700rwhp even with the paxton's are pretty much at the limit also without needing to upgrade components. The more you push out of the stock motor, the more likely something may eventually happen. With that said throw the nitrous on there and enjoy it

I see what you mean by instant power, but S/C usually see a very qucik jump too. And I dont really think that a shot of nitrous at690whp will be more strain on the motor than a S/C setup making 690whp. Im not saying your wrong, just would like to hear more about this.

Is anybody running nitrous with a supercharger with stock internals?

Well it would give you benefits of down low boost lag. but if you are running a 100 shot or more with a supercharger, your engine is on limited time. That is too much stress on the stock engine.

On the street/street tires (not drag radials) you won't need halfshafts. But in a 'sticky' situation, e.g. the track, then you may need to upgrade the shafts.

Guaranteed he will have to upgrade his shafts since once he has traction the shaft or the rear end will do a song and dance.

If you have over 800rwhp when upgrading to the Unitrak 1000hp halfshafts you should also order the billet steel yokes. I have already broke the stock cast iron which is what most people have. I would have saved thousands of dollars if I would have known this earlier. Lucky I had safety loops on the halfshafts. Devon was great to work with.
