I guess I am a new guy also...although with the proper research you can get a great price on a used viper. I bought new in 1994,1997,2001,2003,2006, and looking at a 2008.

Got mine new 5 miles on odometer March 2006. anticipating arrival of a gen IV. Just dosn't make sence to me to purchase a 2008 (same look as 2006 except for performance upgrade) soon PAXTON will take care of that issue.

The 2006 FE blue/white that I bought though a dealer in Oklahoma, I turned around and sold after it arrived in my local dealership to one of the Arizona VCA members. My 2003 has 55,000 miles on it, so a 2008 is on my current wish list. It may be until 2010 until the Generation 4 car arrives.

I personally would say go with a low mileage version. You save a TON of money that way.

I had mine made, it went through stages. It took three months but it was worth every penny or would you say dollars. Gas guzzler tax was $3,000.00. Sales tax was $5,000.00.
