Will Heated O2 sensors help the SES lite issue?

The thought is that in some exhaust systems the O2 sensor is unable to reach a required temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit due to reduced back-pressure (caused by low restriction, high flow headers, cats, mufflers) or improper mounting location.

Marv...all OBD2 cars have HEGOs....in fact, most cars since the late 80s are equipped with heated O2s. The problem with the exhaust upgrades and the O2 failure codes is actually not a "key on engine running" problem. It is a key off test that the PCM performs on the heater circuit for the rear O2s that only appears after XX amount of starts after the modification. I can give you some further info off-line if you are interested.
