I've heard of the pre-chillers for over 2 years now, but I haven't heard of ANYONE who has actually installed one. There have been no glowing reports of how many tenths of drag strip time they've cut off anyone's ET.

I know they advertise on the BBS, but I think it's vaporware.

I’ve seen the unit installed in a Viper the past 2 years at the Barrett Jackson Auction. I believe it was owned by the person selling it.

I can’t quite understand how/why a dyno chart with the following info.
http://www.viperclub.org/news/PC2E.pdf

It shows a modified Viper at only ~150 torque @ 4250 rpm. Then with the chiller it doubles to 300+ torque @ 4250 rpm?

I know the chart line begins late, but I think valid info will show more than just the high rpm Peak power gain.

I know that quite a few guys at the New England Dyno Day were interested in seeing how much more torque and hp a prechiller would give. They were sticking icepacks in the airbox and intake, and were getting 7-10 additional hp.
