Jeff, we would be glad to take a look at your tie down situation and offer suggestions at Watkins Glen. You can check out the method we have developed to tie down our 2 cars. We have gotten pretty good at it now....

You can extend the E-track so that you don't have such an extreme angle, use D-ring anchors, use sleeved axle straps (like I do) or, don't cross the straps.
