Launching technique: 2500rpm, clutch slip, gradually step on the gas to avoid wheelspin.

Shifting technique: NO powershifts,WOT on each gear and speedshifting @ 5000rpm until 4th gear!!!

Results:

60': 1.790s on Michelin Pilot Sport
ET: 11.894s with a FACTORY STOCK Gen II Viper

Powershifting: WOT EVEN when you're stepping on the clutch pedal.

When you speedshift, you are WOT only when the clutch pedal is disengaged (speedshift means that you shift as fast as you can).

Powershifting != Speedshifting

You could powershfit really slowly if you want, I guess!!

I've found that I achieve better trap speeds in shifting @ 5000rpm instead of 6000rpm (redline)!!!

By the way, great runs with a "creampuff" Viper!!
