Just installed high flow cats, corsa 3" exhaust, smooth tubes and filters. After installation, I started the car and noticed and exhaust leak comming from the Random Technology high flow cats. Has anyone experienced this? Is this common? Can I have them welded myself? Please help?

DSI,
Where is the leak at? The seam of the cat or where the cat joins the cat back pipe? How big is the leak?

If the leak is small (pin hole), I wouldn't worry about it. You could use a dab of exhaust type sealant. If the leak is substantial, then it's easy to weld, any decent muffler shop can do it.

If the leak is coming from the clamp at the joint, try cutting a slit about 1" long down the cat outlet, so when you tighten the clamp, the metal stretches and seals.

Good luck
