I was just looking through the 2001 Fall issue of Viper Magazine and on page 23, under the Fast-Paced fun at the Northeast Rendezvous article, there are some pictures. The very first picture in the top left corner shows a GTS, obviously with the Daytona stickers over it and i was wondering, is this an actual Daytona edition car? The thing that made me think was when i noticed the rear wing was the SVS or TNT style single platform and not the adjustable type i have seen on the previous 2 editions (including Treynor's car). Could it possibly be the prototype version i have also heard about?

Quite a gentleman, and designed the car with the same intentions of the Daytona edition .. to commemorate our ALMS victories! I believe he had some help from his Dodge dealer.

I'll try to get more info.

The official prototype car I saw didn't have all the stickers of the car from Canada but it did have a very unussual interior. Picture a 98 GT-2 interior in Red and Black (vs Blue and Black). Very bright red.
