I am in the midst of replacing the OEM Alpine radio with another. There's an 8 pin DIN connector on the back of the OEM unit for the speaker outputs and a label on the top of the chassis for the pinouts. When looking at the pinout references on the label, are pin positions based on 'as if you're viewing' the socket in the back of the chassis? Since the pin placement is circular, I have to know which direction you read the pins in or which pin is #1. Can anyone help me with this?
