Get that baby up on a lift and check for leaks from underneath. Check at the head gaskets especially. The coolant bottle should have a mark on it or a mark in the fenderwll, when you stick a light inside the fender after you remove the big rubber plug in the front of the fenderwell. There is a viewport or slot in the fenderwell that you can see the level of antifreeze from, but it should be about 1/2 full when cold, from what I remember. Hope this helps, and check the board archives for this, there is a lot if information on this there.

That is not where you should fill the coolant. That reservoir should always be full. The bleed/suction line from this tank goes to the overflow bottle located in front of the passenger wheel inside the fascia. Disconnect this line and use a funnel to add fluid to the overflow tank (after filling the reservoir). Somewhere here there should be instructions for burping a Viper. Try a search and it will explain it to you.
Once you get the air purged from your system and both reservoirs full, start checking your levels. They should stay pretty consistant once the air is purged completely.

Check and see if the smell is stronger coming from the sidepipes. It could be a head gasket or liner problem. Ick.

Your tank should always be full. Check the therm. housing gasket and the hoses at the back of motor. It is a very common place for leaks. If you still can't find the leak, take it up to Maxwells in Austin, and let David Weaver find the problem.
