Last night i pulled the OEM amplifier out of my trunk. Since this single amp powers both the door speakers and the center console speaker i wanted to see if it was a 2 or 3 channel amp.
I looked at the label on the bottom but it doesn't tell me anything.
On one end of the amplifier there is a 2 position toggle switch that can be in either the 'R' or the 'C' position. Mine is currently in the 'R' position.
Can anyone tell me what these two positions are for?
And can anyone tell me if this amp is a 2 or 3 channel. Since the center console usese the negative (-) lead from the Left side and the positive (+) from the right side to play 'mono' sound in the center console it appears to me that its a 2 channel amp.
