Viperholics,

Some random pics from Viper Days at Mid-Ohio. Enjoy.

P.S. - Some things I observed:

1.) Most of the big boys and the majority of Vipers were using John Purner rims.

2.) Many wings/splitters (Mostly Archer and Autoform). Archer wing was great looking, but race use only (can't open rear hatch, and enough downforce (with splitter) to require new suspension pieces. John Archer told me it creates enough downforce to crush a stock suspension. WOW!!! Need Penske Coil/shock setup.

3.) Many drivers were using the StopTech brake setup.

John does a good job with the Viper Days group, and alot of folks run his wheels. The first car in the picture is running Forgelines. Most everyone runs one of these two rims and both John ( Custom Wheel ) and Mark ( Forgeline ) were there to support the drivers. Good guys, and their support is the reason the two companies have the bulk of the drivers running their rims. Bobby Archer Motorsports and Archer Racing Accessories both sell the Forgeline rims, and Bobby also is a dealer for Fikse.

Nice pics and thanks for sharing --------- it's nice to share, ha.

The price difference alone means you can get new Purner rims *AND* almost 2 new set of Hoosiers for the price of 1 bare set of any other rims.
