Drivers door pops open by itself ???

This is starting to happen in the last few days. I get out close the door and a few seconds later it open again, close it again, and it opens again a few second later. If I lock the doors by using the remote it seem to be ok, likewise once I drive off, the door stays closed. Do I have a short in the wiring to the door or should I suspect the switch.
Any ideas, its quite embarrassing at times and I got to fix it asap

perhaps the car is just inviting you to take it for a little spin?

OR

do the headlights rotate all the way around? Does the car float at times? Is there an evil chuckle every time you get in? In which case I would get the heck out of there an get a hold of an exorcist.

sounds like you might need to have your alarm controller checked out.

Thanks for that link, Snakebitten, that sounds like it might be the problem, I'll try cleaning up the switch

on the other hand, anyone know a good exorcist

Might make it to the California, next autumn or winter, hope we get to hook up,
It'll be about a week before I get to have a look at my inviting door problem, but I will post on the outcome. Hope prayer and holy water won't be required !!
