I doesn't mount to the spare tire but I've been pleased with it.

I have a slightly used one in great condition that I can sell. Only removed it because I installed a roll bar. Its Deans camara mount as pictured in a link in a previous message.

GTS Dean makes the slickest GTS camera mount I've seen. Used to be $75. I've had mine for a LONG time and love it. Deano, still making those?
