As a followup to my post regarding EagleOne's Wax-as-u-dry product. I have the results of a heavy downpour yesterday:

Rain: 1, Wax-as-u-dry: 0

For the price, I think I'll still use after washes when I'm in between real waxings. It doesn't take any longer to apply than drying your car normally does and it does leave a nice finish. As far as durability though... no surpises there, stick with the real stuff.

Any water-soluable product will go back into solution and wash off when it rains. Ie those car wash 'waxes' are very perishable.

That said, I use Wax-As-U-Dry on my Pace Cars at the track between races when the rains come during/between races. Just keeps the car shiney til the next rain, and helps the inevitable dust/dirt film wash right off along with the wax!

And it does not seem to affect the ZAINO below. A quick Z-6 touch up and Im good (better) than new
