Hey Tu -- thanks for posting the long-lost vid! That was hilarious; I loved the commentary!! That was a really fun night of racing, especially since the Viper went 4-0 against the Supra

The Daytona had tubes & filters and half-shafts, and I was running ET streets for traction. Other than that, it was bone stock.

Very Cool Video!!

I am going to the track with about 6 Supra buddy's on the 26th of October.

Hopefully I can have the same results. My one buddy with his 94 has run 11.5 on stock twins, and consistently runs around 11.9.

I can't wait to see the suprise on his face when I lay it on him. He does not know I have the 200 Shot of Juice (NX), so If I can get traction it should be doable.

I will post a video win or loose.

HEY take a look Treynor tells us that he has tubes and filter and half-shafts. None of which SIGNIFICANTLY increase power, and yet he mentions it. Many people would just say it was BONE stock. Shows Treynor is a class act.

Whom ever was the driver, great job. The shift points and sound of the shifts were great.

It said nothing of the sort. I believe the exact phrase was "never roadraced or abused" which is entirely accurate. We don't abuse cars we know we're going to sell.

FWIW, my best 60' in the Daytona was 1.74 which gives you an idea of how softly I was driving it at the dragstrip.

Now when I sell the yellow car, it's going to have a long list of disclaimers

You bet it's going up to Sacto. I'll run it there until they kick me off, go over to Sears and run there until they ban me (1-2 runs, probably...) then terrorize the streets for a while, change the license plate, and go back to Sacto

It was, well...a rush to say the least

Similar to the one you get on a roller coaster ride, but 10 times better. Next time, I'll be better prepared by bringing an extra pair of underwear
