Viper RT/10 door sills

Just put a door solinoid on car and noticed bubbles on the door shuts (the black bits with the warning stickers on it)
What are these made off?
Can they be painted ?
is it common,i know the side sills bubble

Its the bit when the door is open you take the plastic bungs out to get to the screws to take off the exhaust covers
the black bit with the bungs in and warning stickers on...

I think it is a hard plastic - which could be painted.
The problem I see is the bubbles - you describe - are
in the plastic itself - so you would need to sand the area
flat, first. Also the heat that caused the problem in
the first place will still be a factor - unless you had a
problem with your car and that problem is fixed.

Dont think i have a problem with car seems to run well ..
I am thinking if the Sean roe 1994 borla exhaust to reduce heat and improve sound .
There are a few heat bubbles in exhaust covers as well need to check insulation..

Sounds like you're on the right track - get the new exhaust
then have your sills fixed before they get too many weak spots.
You can mend the plastic pieces and paint them - if you over
sand some areas, you can use 2 part epoxy to fill in the low spots.
