Read vs Unread Messages

Tony,

Now that we have finally moved into a house of our own I have a request.

Can we please have a real read vs unread indicator for each post?

The current "new messages since the last time you were here" just does not work well for me. The problem is that I read this board at work while I am waiting for something else to happen. This means that it may take me all day to read through the new posts, especially on a Monday, because I read just a few at a time.

So I get on the board at say 8:00 but I read my last new message at 3:30. Now all the messages posted after 8:00 will be marked red (unread), but I have read a lot of those already. So tomorrow I will waste a lot of time re-reading stuff I have already seen.

Actually, I also think something like that would be more efficient. That was one nice way the old board worked so you could Quickly scan All the new messages.

For now though, setting the short cut on the desktop to Active Topics lists the most recent posts. You just can't see the entire thread like on the old board.
