Hi- New to forum & Viper Club. Have 99c5 vette, 427cobra replica & 67 BB 427/Auto-Air vette. All cars are auto's due to above knee amputation from motorcycle accident yrs ago. Have wanted Viper in the worst way but trying to fiqure out best way to use a hand assisted device for clutch if possible. Wondering if any of you current owners are in the same boat or could offer some advice. Want to become part of the Viper family but need to do it safely & wisely if at all possible because dont think Dodge will build an auto for Viper any time soon because would probably be a mistake unless its a newer style autoclutch system on high end ferrari's but at a realistic cost. I know there are only probably a handful of us Viper nuts who need some help with the clutch so any imput would be appreciated, Thanks, Paul
4/3/02 Thanks Brad & Joe for your help so far, appreciat response, Paul

It can be done! Gary Dan, one of our most active NJ region members, has a full auto trans in his Snake. Bottom line? E-mail him at [email protected] or call his "General Viper Contractor" Chris Barone (of Snake Pit Racing Fame) at (973) 736-0465.

Gary has flew through the 1/4 mile in 12.5!
