I don't know if I would believe your "friend" the new Viper does not sound "so loud"... unfortunately

I've had a major break-thru in therapy and will not "hack" up the SRT any longer, to those that love it, great, I hope it is all that they hope ot to be.
That said, I was at the plant a while back and they fired up a complete mule inside an interior 3 walled room inside the plant and I found the car to be no louder than current stock GENII in my opinion.
I then hopped in an SRT at MIS for the Viper parade lap before the Nascar race and fired up the car and tossed a few revs, the side exhaust offered a different sound, come from a GENII owner. As far as louder I would say no.
The thing should rock down the 1320 and track though, looking forward to some good numbers!
