It appears DC is "invoicing" the dealers for all SRTs.
I don't know if this is just an accounting thing or if the
VINs are are about to be issued?
My dealer recieved invoices for all the SRTs he has on order,
so I tend to believe this is an accounting thing.
If DC has 1100 more cars to build this year that are pre-sold,
it makes sense from an accounting standpoint to show the
83,000,000 as an account recievible.

Anyone know for sure? Bill P?

Hello "2C" I'm not sure why you asked the question, but to help: A vehicle always has a "vin" vehicle identification number or serial number before an invoice is printed.
Dealers get invoiced a couple of days ahead of the vehicle coming off-line usually.
Vipers are inconsistent in delivery times vs. billing due to grouping of cars for full transport loads to different areas of the country.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the input and that's my understanding also, however
my dealer is now able to "download" all invoices for all orders
he has in the system (just Vipers)yet he has NO VINs, just VONs.

Have you checked your system? Maybe he's about to recieve a couple of truck loads of Vipers with out being forwarned?

I asked the question because this seems strange to me? But what about the Viper ordering process isn't strange?
I have a copy of the Invoice and there is no VIN, just a VON.
