Firing order help!

Does anyone know the firing order? I changed the wires and must have plugged them back in the wrong order, to the distributor cap. I need to find out which wire on the cap goes to which cylinder and I don't know the numbering order of the cap or the cylinders. This is a 1997 GTS if that makes a difference. Thanks

1, 10-9, 4-3, 6-5, 8-7, 2 (unequal firing 90-degree and 54-degree intervals)

I need more specific info I don't even know where the #1 or #2 cylinder is at. I think one of the passenger side wires is in the wrong place. Assuming that the #1 is on the drivers front and they are number straight back then below is how I currently have the engine wired.

A pic from a shop manual with the order would quickly solve the problem if anyone has one. Thanks

OK then based on the alternate firing pattern this is how I have it wired now.

looks like your gonna have to spend the extra $$$ to purchase a shop manual. Why didn't you just change 1 plug wire at a time? this might have taken you a little longer but i bet you wouldn't be having this problem now.

Problem solved, I swapped a two wires #8 & 10 around and now its fine. I did take one wire off at a time but when I got to the last wire the #10 it was already unplugged at the distributor cap. I must knocked it off while pulling off a different wire because they were so hard to see and reach.
