Depends on what you consider better. Looks, performance, life, etc. MSD makes a nice set that works in high temp applications, but the stock wires will provide the best engine performance. The ORECA engines use stock plug wires, fyi.

Bang-4-buck, you cannot beat OEM wires ($60/set!)

So cheap you could keep a spare set in the garage!

If you have headers: PartsRack has protective boot/wire sleeves we call "Snake-Sox" that slide/slither over the boots. Avail in various lengths for OE or aftermarket aplication.

Believe it or not, 1992,'93, and ~94.2 wires can deteriorate if they have ZERO miles on them ! The BOOTS were inferior.

Generally, HEAT, oil/road film, install abuse, headers, heat-shield abrasion, etc, can all shorten normal wire life.

Since OEM are so inexpensive, sooner is better...ie every 25K-30k miles, or 3 years, after 1994. SOoner if older car.
