Going to tour CAAP for the first time on Monday!!!!!

I am taking the day off from work on Monday to visit the birthplace of my baby, the 1996 Dodge Viper GTS. I have lived in the Detroit area for 5 years now and can't believe it took me this long to get out there. I think I will buy arm fulls of goodies at the gift shop. Can I take pictures inside the plant? I know some auto companies do not allow you to take cameras inside an assembly plant. How long does the tour take?

I will be going for the first time on April 27th. Yes, you can take your camera with you. Have a blast. I know I will.

Dear Motor city;

The CAAP plant tour is really great. I picked up my snake there with my wife, and she really enjoyed the tour as well.

My suggestions; take special notice of the Vipers without bodies on as they roll by. It really helps to see what the guts are really like. Ask questions about what was done to improve the 01's driveability. Ask questions about the ABS brakes. Ask questions about availability for 02's. Ask about future paint colors. We would all like to hear your report. When are the 03's really going to be available...what colors?
