How loud would this exhaust be?

I'd leave the side sill resonators alone. You're going to have a nice rumble at idle that will get quite a bit louder when the RPM's are up and you're on the gas hard. I'm not sure if your neighbors will hear it from 5 blocks away though

You won't get any check engine light due to that exhaust change. Deleting the cats will be louder, but you'd get an emissions code if the car was a '98 or newer.

I have used Roe's high flow cats with just a rear glass pack type muffler and it was EXTREMELY loud. I have sense replaced the rear muffler with Power Effects adjustable muffler so I can turn up and down the exhaust note. I like it a lot better now, others here also have used this muffler as well. I ordered direct from manufacture at $250 each plus shipping http://www.powereffects.com
they require welding, about $200 at your local muffler shop.

I think if you just run the cats and no mufflers or resonator at all, it will be far too loud for the street and for your ears as well. Unless you just go for short 10 min trips.
