With help of FinalGTS. I was able to get my new 3 inch Randomtech substrate cats and 3 inch to 4 inch tips
B&B catback installed.

All i can say is IMHO this is the BEST viper exhaust system.
I have heard stock, corsa, snakeoly subexhaust.
and this one is deeper and a little louder than most and look awesome.

Final went to VOI and heard all kinds of exhaust and he said my was "*ucking awesome"

just my 2 cents.
I would recommend Mike Adams for your exhaust purchases, he gave me top notch service and great price!
thanks Mike and Dan.

pics, none as of yet finalGTS took some and has a digital camera.
i will have him post them.
parts came from Mike Adams on the board.
check supplier specials forum for his email address.

after stock is off the car.
remove pipe that connects to headers. have 2 inches of pipe
taken from the stock cat welded on.
then adaptor to new cat and then B&B
install was very easy.
but took time due to having the welding done.
it is just awesome.
will try to get the pics asp.
and the 4 inch tips are awesome!

Thanks Jim.
Did you do the install at home and then drive it to a shop to weld?
Thanks

cycleryan,
The tips are part of the B&B cat back but maybe? call B&B
ViperJoe,
did it at home, just took the pipe that connect to the headers off and take it with you to the
shop.
it comes off easily, one band type clamp.

so, connector pipe from header old cats, harvest 2 inch worth of straight pipe from old cat.
then reinstall connector pipe and bingo!
add adaptors to your 3 inch randomtech cats and then 3 inch back and your done.

Call Mike Adams great prices!!

good luck
Jim

Jim,

Is your system completely 3" throughout? If you took a section from the stock cat isn't it at 2.5" diameter?

I installled Belangers with Random cats and the Mopar cat back. My system would have been 3" throughout but the Mopar Borla cat back had 2.5" inlets which required an adapter that took it down. So I have a bottleneck right at the muffler.

the connection between the cats and cat-back is 3". The B&B system is a full 3", and uses adaptors which are removeable to size down to 2.5". The only 2.5" pipe in the system is the section which comes from the stock header to the beginning of the cat-(about 1 foot long, total) Evereything else all the way back is 3"

Looks good Jim! Did you end up going with the metal or ceramic substrate on the cats? I'm getting the 3" ceramic ones to go with my Corsa this week. I heard the metal substate can be a bit on the loud side.
