What is the typical drive train loss in HP?

Yeah, somebody had something a bit more advanced than just the % figure, was some sort of calcuation with a base figure included or some such.

My reply got lost - so here it is again...

for rwd and manual trans - this seems to work better than most other formulas

rwhp + 10hp divided by 0.88 = crank hp

crank hp less 10hp multiplied by 0.88 = rwhp
