2002 GTS with little over 3k miles and it still squeals like a truck on slow stops or when edging up slowly. Is there any thing that can be done to stop the squealing or better aftermarket breaks I can replace the stock with that wont cause people to think a big rig is pulling up behind them?? Thanks.

Normal sound for high performance brakes.Brake a little later and harder or earlier and easier.EBC makes dust free squeal less pads but they offer less stoppping power than stock. Why pay any attention to the great unwashed masses regarding the sounds of a high performance brake system. Bruce

Yep....pretty normal, my '98 squeals too with 5,500 miles on it. Although I think it is getting better or I have gotten so used to it that I don't notice as much
I am more concerned with how fast the dust accumulates with the stock pads.

Had stock pads and they squealed and made dust. Put on Brakeman 3's and they still squeal and make dust, but now the car stops. ;)
