HELP - Need Advice

Today I took my dad’s srt-10 for a spin and unfortunately stalled at a light up a hill (I just learned to drive stick a month ago). Since then, the engine light stays ON all the time (it’s not flashing..it just won’t go away). I tried tightening up the gas cap and then start the car again but with no success. Does anyone know what else I can do...other than taking the car to the dealer??

I did the same thing last week. Stalled the car, then for about 20 miles the check engine light came on. I stopped into the dealership, they plugged it in and found out that it threw a code for "no power to the crank". The viper tech thought this was wierd since it started fine. Anyway he reset the computer and everything is fine. If the its a bogus check engine then it should reset after four or five restarts of the car.

Have you tried to disconect the computer for a few minutes?
