I have a 95 Viper - I'm trying to access the wires that come in the left top corner of the passenger floorboard (left of your toes if you were sitting there). They come through a rubber boot and then appear to go under some type of metal brace. The manual shows that there should be a black and gray 10 pin connector in this area.

It's almost like the floorboard is in two pieces that forms a pocket and this metal brace opens them up. It appears to be screwed on. Does anyone know anything about this? I wonder if the parts manuals would show the pieces?

I have a '94. The passenger floor has a plate that I think is removed with a few screws. Lift the carpet some more. I went looking for a connector related to the skip shift solenoid and it passes under this plate also.

I can't find a picture in the electrical connector location section or the parts manual. But I do recall it's straightforward to remove, no tricks.
