I don't know if this has been posted before, but it may be of interest for some people. It shows you the different transmission ratios and specs available.

It kinda makes me wonder how some of these cars can put down 700 - 800 ft lbs of torque and still have a reliable transmission.

Specially since the highest one listed is "only" good to 550 lb-ft of torque.

I wondered about that also. As it stands, any modded car meets or exceeds the rated torque.

When my T-56 broke second gear, one response was that they are like razor blades...

Anyway, I had found the service manual at
http://www.tremec.com.mx , but unfortunately it's not posted anymore. If anyone needs it, let me know.

(This is a good post to gather up information about T-56s.)
