Anyone shipped a hard top?

What is the best way? How do you arrange pick up? What about packing or crating?
Running into some logistical problems...

If you don't want to crate it yourself I would go to a "pack and ship" store. They shipped mine several years ago and did just fine.

I shipped one a couple of years ago. I just hacked up a refrigerator box, packed the [******] out of it, and sent it on it's way.

Thanks for the replies! We got it worked out; UPS bailed but FEDEX is picking it up and drop shipping to my nearest pickup point. The problem was the shipper packed it too well! Lots of bubble wrap and the thing just got too big for UPS.
Can't wait to get my hard top - won't have to borrow one at Viperdays next year!!
