The service manual describes the removal of the engine and transmission together, is it possible to just remove the engine leaving the transmission in place?

Also are there any tips or tricks for the removal of the engine?

Thanks in advance

Hi Philip,
Your pulling the motor on the 94 you just got??

It's better to pull the transmission first and then the motor! The motor won't have enough room to go forward to unplug off of the trans. Getting the tranny out first will let you go almost straight up with the motor and you won't have to disconnect the upper cross member and radiator.

If you want, e-mail me and I'll see If I can give you some more pointers as your doing it.

Why are you pulling it?
