Spoke to Ned tonight. We may have to take a vote on it but I'll bet most people would go for $25 and no payout.

Just to let you know, this series was always run as part of NSCA and that's what the entry fee to an NSCA race always is; $100. I wasn't really surprised to hear it but I thought it would've been less this time since it isn't being run with NSCA. So we'll just take a vote in the morning.

Woke up 6:00am 1-2 inches of snow on the ground. Roads are sanded, sloppy! Roads didn't dry out around here until noon. Didn't want to drive my Viper in sand and slushy roads to White plains! I should have just drove my truck. Sorry i missed it. :( :( :( Hope the Vipers kicked Some Butt!!!

Guys I went with the camera and got pics and vids. There were several vipers that showed and a modded C6. I'll have pics in here in a minute.

Sincere thanks to every Viper owner who participated today (racing or watching). This was, by far, the best Viper turnout in the series. I loved it! I really hope we can keep this going and have similar (or better) turnouts in the future.

You guys that went to the race, I thank you for supporting the hobby.

Just so that it is clear, the way the purse usually works is
$100 entry fee
4 cars enter, $250 winner and $150 runner-up for 100% payout to the drivers.

Those who paused at the $100 entry I take the approach that driving to the track for $25 (plus costs) with not chance of even a break even return is a waste.

Different perspectives I guess.

I understand a change in the program was made based on the input here so I hope you all enjoyed it.
