Short Throw Shifter and Knob or just MGW Knob??

After reading numerous posts here.. I've gotten the impression that some feel that a short throw shifter and conventional knob is best, others feel that the First Strike knob on the factory shifter is functionally the same...

Opinions??

On all my Vettes, a short shifter and Momo Knob were always the best..

Regarding shifters, .. B&M, Comp, ?? who makes the one with the best reputation..?

First Strike knob on B/M short throw here - couldn't be happier with shifter...

B&M ripper with MGW gripper on Vette & SRT much preferred over stock

I just added an MGW knob and it made a huge difference in feel vs. the stock telephone pole they give you in this car.

I have the stock knob with the SVS shifter. Love it! I had an MGW knob, but it was just to damned short. I need a little leverage to really row the gears.
