Wheel speed sensors - how hard to install on non-ABS Viper?

I'm takng baby steps on a little bity project... how difficult is it to install wheel speed sensors on a non-ABS viper? I'm not at the ABS stage yet... just want to get some data-logging going right now. I've seen some sensors you can drill into the axles, but it looks like a pain. Anyone ever done this or have any suggestions?

I think you need the ABS car's steering knuckles.

To simply install sensors, I thought you could just drill them in. but i've been wrong before.

What's a "steering knuckle"?

well..you're gonna need a mount such as the spindle as suggested and then a trigger on the wheel or hub or axle....which is called the tone ring on normal ABS cars....
