850 miles on this White Mamba; bought last March(04). It goes in for a DLM SC next week and Doug Levin bets I will drive it more.

Bought it new in APR 04, had less than 40 miles on it. I've put 5700 miles on it in spite of it spending part of October, all of November, and the first 2 weeks of December in a service bay.

About 500 miles per month (year round here in the Bay Area)just for fun........If I didn't drive it much, I'd find another hobby......

I have 2700 miles on my 04 and would have about 6000 or more if I didn’t have so many mechanical problems. IMO, a Viper is like a beautiful woman, she is nice to look at but does me no earthly good unless I have my hands on her!!!! Unless you are buying the car for a future investment, way in the future, put on the miles, its only money but time behind the wheel of a Viper……PRICELESS. Work hard, live hard, play hard, drive hard.

My silver '03 has 8,000 on it and of those probably about 6,500 have been put on various race tracks around the country. Viper Days is a beautiful thing. When I bought it back in January of '03 I couldn't drive it much, but our first club event was at Route 66 drag strip. I had to drive it around the week before so that I met the break in period. When I arrived at the track the odometer said 720 miles, just enough to have met the requirements. My moto " DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT" My first time ever down a drag strip I turned a 12.37 @ 117MPH.

And so it goes, next stop Viper Days @ Sebring. I'll break in those Motons down there. I can't wait. Maybe this year with the addition of the Motons I will not file down my front splitter in those down hill braking zones.

Ihave to agree what is the sense of owning it if you don't drive it.any one who does the sunday cruises to captree are usually the guys who don't leave them sitting in the garage for fear of putting on mileage...
