Carpet is peeling away on drivers side door...any suggestions?

The carpet on my driver’s side door has started to peel away from the top just underneath the door handle and I’m wondering is there am any magic to repairing this situation? I assume it’s just glued or is it just tucked up under the door panel? If so, is there anything special I should know? Just thought I’d ask before I make a run at fixing this.

Can also try a carpet or fabric store that has aerosol spray glue. It is the same yellow color as the tacky stuff on the door and about as messy as it sounds. (I have a '94 Emerald Green.)

I did not like the fuzzy carpet, even worse on the Gen I's than the Gen II's.

I bought some leather on Ebay and had the a local upholstry shop recover them in the leather. Cost for labor was $50 and the leather was about the same.
