Delivery Checklist

I know this has been posted before but I could not find the prior post:

I will be picking up a 2006 SRT-10 convertible in the next few weeks and was wondering if someone had suggestions for a checklist upon delivery:

Here's what I have so far:

Confirm VIN No. matches

Check new mileage

Check exterior paint

Check interior

Check radio function

Check hood, trunk function

Check underhood/engine bay

Check lights function

Check wheel torque (90 ft-lb)

Get window sticker and other documentation

What else am I supposed to get in terms of number of keys, documentation, etc.

My car (03) came with two keys/remotes, a front license plate bracket w/installation kit. I understand the newer ones have floor mats and a trunk mat. I would real close at the lower front and behind the wheels for rock chip and/or curb damage. Also look real closely at the rims for signs of curbing (the outer edges of the rims will have cosmetic damage from scrapping).

Other than that be carefull when you first start driving the Viper because it can get away from you. Remember it is low to the ground so be carefull when pulling into parking spaces so you don't scratch the front end. Also remember that most of the car is in front of you so it is easy to
curb a rim.

Also look for your convertible trunk boot (covers the top when down). They were standard issue starting in 2004. Have fun!
