Fellow Paxton owners I received my new air cleaner housing this week. I have not installed it yet but it looks like it should do the trick. The high corners have been flattened.

I will post a pic once I have completed the install. Then it will be time for a new hood pad. I have not heard about the painted hood pads for a while but that is what I prefer.

Yeah,

Got mine too. Looks like a better fit. Also need new hood pad / insulation. What about the painted ones? Where to get / $ / etc?

My arrived as well; you get about 1/4 inch clearance now(hood/pad); my pad does not look too bad because I would leave the hood unlatched during stationary garage time.

Also a question regarding the brass piece on the bypass valve. I noticed it was broken off due to lack of clearance to the hose. Anyone know the impact of this being broken?
