The only reason I ask is because I have NEVER seen any SRT owners mod list include 1.7's, so they are either uncommon on the SRT OR they come with them.

Thanks

just wondering

I heard it doesn't make much of a difference to upgrade to the 1.7 rockers..

Actualy think they come with a higher ratio than that. If my memory serves me right it was one of the hp gains for the new motor.

SRT-10's have 1.73 ratio roller-fulcrum rockers. Any gains by going to 1.7 T&D's or the like are from valvetrain stability due to lighter components. the OEM rockers do not have roller tips, and are steel. T&D's have roller tips, and are Aluminum.

If you want a SERIOUS set of rockers, go with Jesel J2K Mohawks in a 1.75 ratio. Lighter than T&D, Stronger, smaller, roller fulcrum and tips... and the correct ratio.

Oh... and more expensive too...LOL

I have the Jessels. They rock. Cam a bit more "lopy" at idle, car pulls strong up to 6400 rpm if I want to. Very good looking, lightweight product. My tuner said he thought the stockers were 1.65 ratio, though the manual says they are 1.7. Daniel is probably right, he usually is.
