96 gts w/ stock 17" rims, want to go to 18" or 19" rims. how will it

96 gts w/ stock 17\" rims, want to go to 18\" or 19\" rims. how will it

affect the speedometer reading. easy to fix by changing out a speedo gear drive, etc?

Hey Ed:
I got a 96 gts with 18s and it did not effect it one bit, because when you go with a larger wheel, you get less rubber. I think stocks are 35s and 18s are 30s; therefore, the total circumference of the wheel and tire do not change.
