It is that time of year again when Viper Days starts the 2006 season with a BANG!! Viper Days Driving School will be at Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas Jan 20-22, 2006. It is very close to Dallas, Houston and Austin so I hope to see all you TX VCA members out at the track driving or spectating.
We still have openings for rookie/first time drivers at Texas World. You will be assigned an instructor who will sit in the passenger side with an in car communicator helping you around the track. Remember, this is not racing, this is learning how to drive your Viper safe and effectively. How many times have you given your car a bit to much gas and the back end comes out on you??? It has happened to many of us and we will show you how to control and avoid accidents like that. There is also extensive classroom which is Viper specific not to mention the fun social aspect of event. Reception parties, goodie bags, polo shirts, sit down dinners, give aways, auction, trophies.... All of this in 1 weekend.
Don't forget... If you are a VCA member you will receive $50 off your entry plus if this is your first event we will take another $100 off!!

Please note that this is a blanket e mail. If you have already sent in your forms and recieved an e mail from me then you are OK. This is just a reminder to everyone else who has not done so.
MANDATORY:
If this is your first event I will need each driver to fill out the 2006 application and the 2006 Med+Stats form before coming to the event. THURSDAY TRAILER DROP OFFS: Changed information
Thursday 6:30pm-10pm $15 entry for car/trailer and $50 for semis if you are a large trailer please use the large trailer entrance(exit at Texas World exit and veer left and turn left over the hwy. Turn right at the next street and proceed south for .4 miles until you see a sign for Peach Tree Rd Cut Off. Then turn left. Go for .4 miles to the 2nd gravel rd and turn left into the racetrack. You MUST call Jack Turner at 979-690-2500 so he can meet you at the gate to let you in. 1 hour advanced notice is NEEDED!!)
FRIDAY TEST & TUNE DAY:
Viper Days, Inc. will be offering a Friday Test & Tune day for advanced drivers. No rookies are allowed. 9am-5pm we will be running 3 run groups all day!! $350 full day no lunch and $250 for half day no lunch 1-5pm. Call Courtney for approval if you have questions. 847-594-8477
FRIDAY PM:
The Friday night registration/reception party will be held at the host hotel, Hilton College Station, from 6-9pm. If you are not able to make it to this night please get to the track early Sat at 6am to register.
SATURDAY PM:
The Sat banquet will be at the Hilton. 6:30 cocktails; 7pm dinner.
