I wanted to find a used set of 18 inch rims for 2000 or less. What do you guys recommend and where can I find them. Also whats the best drag radial for our car? Thanks.

You are in Florida , so get ahold of John at CCW before you buy a set of rims that will not fit around the rear emergency brake caliper.

Keep in mind too, that you have 535 ft. lbs of torque at your foot, so roll into the throttle at the strip and keep the revs relatively low at take off ( most recommend around 1800-2500 ).

I prefer road course work , myself , but you will find plenty of die hard track rats out there on both sides of the coin.

I have practiced on some open roads and I have found slipping into 2700-2800 and then WOT once the car is moving has proven the best so far, using a correct combination of slipping and throttle.

If you want to try some BFG DR, they are dam good tires. I have a set that I used for a couple of runs. 345 18" tires. I cut a seady 1.5 60' times with them.

18 X 13? Simply, CCW has the Classics which come in even wider increments..
