No I don't want it. But was wondering if that is a good price or not?

It was sitting on the dealer floor where my brother just picked up his new CTD Mega Cab tonight, and I thought I would ask about it.

The salesman told me that if my brother brought someone in who wanted it, they would do better than that even.

Car is new and never titled.

Seen a lot better. New cars can be had for $69ish even lower in some occassions. Just gotta look. At $77K, you will loose almost $10K when you drive it off the lot.

I would be very surprised to see a 2005 un titled car going for less than low 70's unless the dealer is interesting in losing a lot of money.

I'm just trying understand the conversion on US pricing.

In the UK 80000 pounds or $ 139200 US dollars for an SRT-10 taxes / frieght / etc......not inclusive?

In Canada $ 84000 dollars or $ 73080 USD plus 15% tax = 96600.00 not including freight/ gas tax/ color tax/ tire tax/ trunck tax/ echaust tax and GOD KNOW WHAT ELSE TAX.......

If you pay 70000.00 USD for a Viper. What else do you guys have to pay for an on the road price? You guys are getting a great deal in my opinion.

Thanks
Patrick

Compared to the taxes of other countries it looks like we walk away with ****** but then again cars built in your countries of course are cheaper than what we would buy them for. Regardless, what we pay besides the negoitated price is gas guzzler tax ($4000 or so ONLY IF NEW), sales tax (Up to 9%), luxury tax ($1000 - $2000), DMV fees (a few hundred dollars), and document fees (A few hundred dollars).

There is a brand new never driven 04 black on black that a local dealer would love to get rid of for somewhere in the 50's GTS Bruce

right... that price is absolutely horrible.

I'm sure we all remember back in 05, some guys getting them brand new, never titled for a number in the 60's

So a year later, still sitting on a lot, and the dealer thinks he can get 77k ? I'd laugh in his face.

You need to find a car located in the Mid-West, away from Jersey and Wall Street where there is less of a chance of someone buying it. East coast mark-up. Sad, but they may get it, although others on here would disagree.

I just paid $72,500 for a new '05 vert last friday, although I had to go to Nebraska to get it. Still, the dealership was great to work with & the drive back over the Rocky's & Sierra Nevada was a trip to remember (with a big smile).
